All patients are encouraged to settle their accounts on the day of service and some imaging modalities attract a discount incentive for same-day full settlement of the account.

Fees charged by Perth Radiological Clinic are consistent with providing quality diagnostic imaging services. Fees vary between imaging modalities and patients are advised of the cost of their examination when making an appointment. Patients may be required to pay a gap beyond the Medicare refund. We accept Mastercard, Visa, cheque or cash and provide EFTPOS facilities at most sites to facilitate full settlement of accounts on the day.

The Medicare ‘rebate’ represents what the Federal Government is prepared to contribute towards the cost of health services. Our fees are set to cover the costs of providing 24 hrs-a-day, teaching hospital quality imaging services in all modalities. The ‘gap’ is the difference between these two fees.

Patients who anticipate financial difficulty are asked to discuss their situation with their referring doctor or our local Accounts Staff.
