Perth Radiological Clinic re-established the Diagnostic Imaging department at Kalamunda Hospital on Monday 17th November and has revitalised this important service to the community.
Our General Manager, Lenka Psar-McCabe said “From the time the contract was awarded in July, we have made a substantial investment in refurbishing the department and this is just the beginning. We opened our doors on Monday, 17th November and are looking forward to not just providing a radiological service for the Swan Kalamunda Health Service, but to exceed their expectations”.
Initially, we will be offering General X-Rays, Ultrasounds and CT scans but in the medium term will look to expand the on-site service with new facilities and equipment updates.
Patients who need more specialized medical imaging will be given appointments at our clinics at Victoria Street Radiology (Midland) or PRC’s Bentley Hospital site, whichever is more convenient.
At a reception held on the evening of Tuesday 18th November at Kalamunda Hospital, the Hon John Day, MLA, Minister for Planning; Culture & the Arts, Member for Kalamunda, officially opened the new X-Ray Department.

Among invited guests at the opening ceremony were Cllr. Donald McKechnie - Kalamunda Shire President, Dr Peter Wynn Owen, Executive Director - Swan Kalamunda Health Service, Dr John Kennan, Director Clinical Services - Swan Kalamunda Health Service and Ms Anne-Marie Alexander, Nursing Director - Swan Kalamunda Health Service.
Dr Rodney Greenberger, Partner-in-charge of Radiological Services for the region and leader of Service Delivery at our Victoria Street Radiology clinic said “We are immensely proud at being chosen to provide this vital service to Kalamunda and the surrounding community. It is a golden opportunity for us to demonstrate our commitment to those outside the immediate metropolitan area.”
