Overview
Thornton is a graduate of the University of Pretoria in South Africa and completed his radiology training at Pretoria Academic Hospital and Johannesburg General Hospital. After more than a decade in private radiology practice in South Africa Thornton moved to Australia and joined Perth Radiological Clinic in 2009.

Musculoskeletal ultrasound with ultrasound and CT guided joint infiltrations. Mammography and breast ultrasound with ultrasound guided aspiration and FNA. Dental imaging.
