Overview
Bill Breidahl is a WA medical and radiological graduate who completed his radiological training in 1993. He was awarded the H R Sear prize in his final radiological exams as recognition for the most outstanding performance in these exams Australia wide. Subsequently he received the Thomas Baker study fellowship to assist in his fellowship training overseas, again against Australia wide competition. Upon completion of the musculoskeletal imaging fellowship at the University of Michigan, USA, he joined Perth Radiological Clinic and became a Partner in 1996. His primary interest is musculoskeletal radiology, including musculoskeletal ultrasound and MRI. He was the attending radiologist to all athletes at the Atlanta Olympic games in 1996 and the Sydney 2000 Olympics. He also provided the radiological services to the 2003 World Cup rugby games held in Perth. In 2007 he was elected president of the Australasian Musculoskeletal Imaging Group.
